StillMe:

Designing for
memory,&dignity

Alzheimer’s is part of my family’s story.

Seeing the emotional burden it places on both the person affected and their loved ones inspired me to create StillMe, a companion app designed to support memory, independence, and everyday life with dignity.

  1. Overview

A companion app designed for people living with Alzheimer's and the family members who support them.

The goal was to reduce confusion, support independence, and make everyday tasks feel less overwhelming through a simple and reassuring digital experience.

Problem

Everyday Challenges That Existing Apps Don't Solve

People living with dementia face challenges that go beyond memory loss. Daily routines, relationships, and even simple interactions with technology can become confusing and overwhelming.

Everyday Tasks Become Everyday Barriers

People living with dementia often face challenges that many digital products fail to address.

Remembering People

Names, relationships, and important family information can become difficult to recall.

Finding Everyday Items

Glasses, medicine, keys, and personal belongings are frequently misplaced.

Accessing Important Information

Passwords, PINs, and sensitive information often require assistance from others.

Complex Interfaces

Many existing apps contain too many options, creating confusion and cognitive overload.
